Meet the SPF Alumni

Maxime is the practice lead for program management and transformation at BMO Financial Group, he has taken on various procurement sustainability initiatives including sustainable sourcing and carbon pricing for services. Experienced in end-to-end procurement with 10 years experience ranging from AP, Business Transformation, Sourcing and Supplier Relationship Management; his knowledge allows him to see where we can be more sustainable throughout the procurement journey. He brings a passion for a sustainable future, both in business and in life. He has a strong sense of justice for the environment as demonstrated by his vegan lifestyle and target to be zero-waste. This helps drive the change he wants to see within BMO, whether it is eliminating single use plastic or holding suppliers accountable for their carbon emissions.

With over 25 years in retail finance, strategy, technology and product quality, Kimi is currently the Associate Vice President Product Stewardship for Canadian Tire’s family of companies. She enables her team to ensure product safety and environmental compliance, to drive continued improvements in worker fairness, respect and safety in the factories manufacturing Canadian Tire’s Owned branded products and to reduce CTC’s environmental impact through development of circular capabilities.

Kimi actively participates as in a number of not-for-profit Boards. She is the Chair of the Canadian Electrical Stewardship Association Board of Directors, a Board Member of the Trade Facilitation Office, and Treasurer of Nirapon, an organization to drive a culture of worker safety in Bangladesh.

Kimi has a MBA in International Business from McMaster University and a Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Kelsea is a sustainability professional with around 7 years of experience. She is currently the Sustainability Manager at global education technology company D2L, developing D2L’s first sustainability and ESG strategy and structure. She brings experience from consulting in mining and oil and gas industries in ESG reporting, stakeholder engagement, and cleantech projects; and prior to that, supply chain management and food and beverage industries in Paris, France. She has experience working in several countries and across several industries. Kelsea is a lecturer to Master’s level students at HEC Paris and ESMT Berlin in sustainability and social impact topics.

Maud is a sustainability professional with 15 years of experience addressing environmental, social and governance challenges across industries. As a Senior Manager in TELUS’ Sustainability & Environment team, Maud is responsible for integrating sustainability considerations across the company’s value chain, including managing the environmental performance of suppliers, reducing Scope 3 GHG emissions to meet our science-based targets, and supporting broader circular economy and climate change strategies. 

Before joining TELUS, Maud was a leader within Deloitte’s Sustainability & Climate Change practice, advising companies on their decarbonization and ESG strategies. She has a MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and a BSc in Cell Biology from McGill University. Maud is based in Vancouver, where she can usually be found enjoying the outdoors, cooking, reading, and trying to keep up with her two young kids. 

Serita, an environment and sustainability professional with over 15 years experience in the private sector, is the Sr. Manager Corporate Responsibility & Environment at Bell Canada. Her portfolio includes overseeing Bell’s Climate Change, Circular Economy and Responsible Procurement strategies. She specializes in developing and executing strategies and programs that require wide scale internal stakeholder engagement on all levels of an organization. A skillset that’s essential for her current role at Bell.  

Lupita (she/her) is a Sustainable Procurement Consultant at Reeve Consulting, where she works with clients to design and implement their Sustainable Procurement programs in the private and public sector. Lupita is passionate about advancing Indigenous solutions, circularity, and impact-driven, regenerative systems.

Lupita holds an Advanced Diploma in Sustainable Business Leadership from BCIT, after completing an Environmental Studies degree from the University of Waterloo.

Gabriela Wilson is a professional engineer and Certified Sustainability Practitioner that has worked in the Energy Industry for over 18 years. She spent most of her career as an Exploitation Engineer working on economic evaluations, corporate reserves management, corporate lending and investor relations. She is currently the Manager of Sustainability at Tidewater Midstream and Infrastructure.

Mélanie Wiseman is a trilingual sustainability professional with 15 years’ experience in the North American energy and non-profit sectors. She is the Commercial Manager for the Trans-Québec & Maritime Pipeline (TQM) with TC Energy, and has previous experience leading initiatives in sustainability, ESG, communications, supply chain, supplier diversity and board of director governance. Mélanie is focused in her career on enabling good governance and developing corporate strategies that link ESG performance with bottom line results.

Candice Wong is a Strategic Souring Specialist with 10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement and supply chain management. At Agrifoods International Cooperative Ltd., she seeks out new ingredients, focusing on cost management, and regulatory needs, while also evaluating supplier performance. Previously at One Degree Organic Foods, she managed global vendor relationships, sourcing ingredients and packaging with an emphasis on traceability and supply chain resilience. Candice has also held roles at Nature’s Path Foods, Lululemon Athletica, and Blurr Designs. Passionate about sustainable sourcing, Candice is committed to driving positive change in both business practices and the environment.

Nicky is a results-oriented professional with extensive experience in vendor management, strategic planning, and contract negotiation. She has a proven track record of building and leading successful teams, fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and driving process improvements. Nicky is passionate about fostering collaboration and making a positive social and environmental impact through sustainable procurement practices and has recently taken on the exciting new opportunity to develop and implement the Sustainable Procurement program at ATB Financial.
