In response to increasing questions from CBSR’s members and partnering organizations on the meaning of natural capital for business, last month CBSR hosted a webinar to provide an introduction to Natural Capital Risks & Opportunities for Business.
On November 6th I participated in CBSR’s Transformational Companies Summit with thought leaders involved with corporate social responsibility (CSR). I was specifically interested in how multi-stakeholder collaboration can increase the impact of CSR.
Marks and Spencer is a major British multinational retailer with over 700 stores in the United Kingdom and 361 stores spread across more than 40 countries. It specialises in the selling of clothing and luxury food products. Marks and Spencer’s launched Plan A in January 2007 and set out 100 commitments to be achieved by 2012.
