An Evening of Purposeful Pints
There was no better way to celebrate the beginning of summer than to share drinks and conversation with colleagues in the Centre for Social Innovation-Atrium at Thursday’s Pints With Purpose. It was fitting to toast to the future of CSR and sustainability inside 100-year-old walls and on land inhabited for thousands of years – to move forward, we have to reflect on the past.
With appetizers from Vert Catering and our exclusive Purposeful Pale Ale brewed by Great Lakes Brewery (with help from us!), we shared ideas, business cards, and laughs. Check out the slideshow with photos taken by Kate McKenzie below.
A thought-provoking speech by CBSR Executive Director Leor Rotchild set the tone for the evening. “There has never been a more important and exciting opportunity for Canadian businesses to lean in and redefine what leadership looks like,” he announced to the attentive crowd. “Help us toss away what people think they know about [CSR] and craft a new vision for Canada and for the world.”
