Starting on October 3-5, Steven will be in Casablanca, Morocco for The Circular Economy & The New Energy Of Companies. This session, hosted by Respeco Institute (the think tank of the World Forum for Responsible Economy) will include 22 international business networks. The intention is to author a series of recommendations on the Circular Economy. The outcomes of the workshop will be presented officially during COP22 as an official contribution of the corporate sector.
From October 5-7, Steven will travel to Brussels, Belgium where CSR Europe and CBSR will co-present a webinar on Achieving the SDGs through Transformation with McCain Europe and Enel Italy. We welcome you to register for this FREE webinar by following the link here.
Following CSR Europe and CBSR’s Webinar, Steven will be travelling to London, UK from October 7-9 to meet with HRH The Prince of Wales patronage representatives at Clarence House to discuss Canada 150 celebrations and the future of responsible business in Canada.
From October 10-12, Steven will be in Lille, France for the CSR Accelerator Initiative; a meeting with other global business networks to discuss adoption of the 17 Sustainable Development Objectives shaping companies’ basic framework regarding social responsibility. Representatives will also discuss the trajectory set into motion by the Paris Climate Agreement rallying companies around the less-than-2°C target and the European Directive on extra-financial information to complete an increasingly comprehensive European approach towards transparency. Global Compact France, Eurosif, German Council for Sustainable Development, RSO au MAROC, Roseau Alliances, World Forum, CSR Europe, ETHOS, The Shift and IARSE are all expected to attend.
Steven will then travel to La Rochelle, France from Oct 12-14 for the World Forum for a Responsible Economy. He will be moderating a panel called “Oceans are Everything” with: Ocean Recovery Alliance, Interface (Net-Works) and Alison Teal.
Lastly, Steven will travel to Colombo, Sri Lanka from October 16 – 21 to speak to World University Service Canada (Sri Lanka), Tourism & Construction Industry Groups, Chambers of Commerce, Youth Entrepreneurs and a prestigious CEO Club. Canadian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Shelley Whiting will also be in attendance.
